Panel advocate management

Your panel, without the chaos.

Replaces the Excel sheet, the WhatsApp group and the paper voucher with one system — every action logged — that your legal team and your panel advocates both work from.

Every brief goes to the right advocate, automatically

When a new hearing is scheduled, NRD picks the advocate for it — weighing the court's level (tribunal, High Court or Supreme Court), the district and state, how much each advocate already has on, and how they've done on similar claims before. The brief the case package sent to an advocate — a clear claim summary, the evidence pack and prior orders — goes straight to the advocate's app.

No more allocation phone calls. No more hearings missed because the brief sat in someone's inbox. Every assignment is logged.

Know a hearing really happened — confirmed against the court record

NRD checks every hearing against the official government court record ( eCourts the government's national court-records portal ) for that case. If the court system shows one date and the advocate's report shows another, the mismatch is flagged.

To confirm an appearance, the advocate checks in from the court itself, and the location is captured with it. A pattern of late or missed appearances builds up on the advocate's scorecard, not in a chat thread no one can find later.

Orders reach the claim file the same day

After each hearing, the advocate photographs the order with the in-app camera. Netra (NRD's document-reading engine) reads the text, and NRD tags the outcome (adjourned, partial award, final order or dismissed), links it to the claim file and notifies the claims team.

The order becomes part of the structured claim record straight away — not a PDF buried in someone's email.

Pay advocates with the tax and GST handled for you

Advocate fees are paid out through Razorpay a payment gateway with tax deducted at source under Section 194J the income-tax rule requiring 10% tax deducted on professional fees (10% on professional fees) and a proper GST India's goods & services tax invoice raised. The paperwork your finance team needs is generated automatically.

No hand-worked tax deduction sheets. No year-end GST reconciliation from a pile of Word files. Every payout ties back to a hearing, a claim and an advocate.

See which advocates are performing

Each panel advocate the lawyers an insurer has empanelled to argue its cases has a running scorecard: hearings attended against those assigned, how their outcomes compare to reserves the money set aside to pay a claim , settlements achieved, how fast they collect orders, and how quickly they respond to a new brief.

Advocates see their own scorecard, so they know exactly what they're measured on. Panel renewals become a decision based on the numbers, not on who you know.

An advocate's app simple enough to use in court

Your panel advocates get a light mobile app: today's hearings, the brief for each, a check-in button, a camera for orders and a secure message thread with your claims team. Nothing more than they need.

It works on a weak connection and takes a five-minute walkthrough to learn.

Data stays in India

All claimant data is processed and stored in India (the AWS Mumbai region), with consent tracking, automatic deletion after set periods, and a 72-hour breach process.

Government security standard

Logs kept 180 days, incidents reported within 6 hours, clocks synced to an official time source, and continuous monitoring.

Each insurer walled off

One insurer's claim file can never be read by another. Insurer and lawyer work stay on separate tracks — enforced, not promised.
